Sabrina Mahfouz returns to Scotland after winning a Fringe First Award for her play Chef, for an intimate reading and Q&A at Dardishi Festival. Join us for an evening of musings on love, identity, belonging, racism and the position of Arab and North African womxn in the UK today.
Mahfouz is a British Egyptian playwright, poet and screenwriter, named 'one of the rising stars of new British playwrighting' by The Herald. Mahfouz has been the Sky Arts Academy Scholar for Poetry, Leverhulme Playwright in Residence, and Associate Artist at Bush Theatre.
Access: All areas of the venue are accessible to those with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. Large print and Arabic language versions of our printed programme will be available throughout the Festival.
