Through this workshop, children will be introduced to different forms and expressions of political art. We will explore the work of current artists from the Middle East and North Africa and its diaspora, talk about how and why particular works are political, and then create our own original artwork to be displayed during the Festival. This workshop is facilitated by visual artist, cultural activist, and musician Nadia Buyse. Ages 8 - 12 years.
This event will take place at the Centre for Contemporary Art’s Creative Lab. Tickets can be purchased here.
